Destiny

As soon as the mind wanders, 
you become a victim of delusion, 
our job in the world is simple:
create no future, finish all past. 

Find joy and contentment in each moment, 
for everything is perfect as is, 
by getting in one's own way, 
the fool locks himself in his own prison. 

To understand true Dharma, 
give your life's aim to the winds, 
practice mindfulness diligently in each moment, 
and leave the rest to the Bodhi within. 

Love your destiny more than yourself,
see perfection in your reaction, 
and not in the quality of life. 
Rejoice in challenges of all kinds. 

Each experience is valuable, 
for with it comes the ability to handle it, 
to control mind and keep it steady,
that is the path of the ever so ready.
