Guru's Grace

Homage to Shakyamuni Buddha,
my eternal Guru and Dharma friend,
through the grace of the Buddha, 
my mind rejoices in meditative bliss. 

Weeping at the beauty of Milarepa's songs, 
I have lost all longing for the material world, 
When I relinquished all external outgoings, 
The internal joy flooded immeasurably.

Seek not the Creation, O' Mind, 
Seek the Creator, then your heart will be free, 
I go to refuge to the Source of happiness, 
which brings all beings to perfect bliss. 

Not a finger moves, 
Not a thought arises, 
Not a moment passes, 
Without the grace of the Guru.

All wise sages praise their teachers, 
All established personnel show humility,
I indeed was a fool to think I am powerful, 
When all good things came from my Guru.
