Unfettered Mind: Fudoshin

Inspired by Iaido Martial Arts (No endorsement of violence, advocating concentrated practice)
When the mind sticks to ideas,
it becomes vulnerable to identity.
The sword that fixates on an enemy
has already opened itself to defeat.Like flowing water,
like a clear mirror,
like thought before it hardens,
the sword prevails that does not hesitate. No sky clings to clouds.
No river stagnates at stone.
No mirror grasps its reflection.
So too the mind moves without friction.A steady boulder withstands
the blows of a falling waterfall
not through effort,
but by refusing resistance.
So the trained mind
rests even within pressure. The book, Unfettered Mind, states:
have awareness without fixation,
and all action flows without interruption.Sword and mind are one movement.
The hand moves the sword,
The mind dissolves the ego.
