Winter Flows

03/16/2026
Dry arms of trees reaching,
Nectar flows below,
Silence rests in struggle,
Everything in flow.

Slight breeze hits pine,
Fallen leaves lay quiet,
The sky sleeps in vastness,
My mind dwells in peace.

Distractions scatter like fallen leaves,
Greed, lust and desire creates restless wind,
The mind rushes for shelter,
in that space give it Dharma's nectar.

Friends, Strangers, Family,
They all leave impressions,
Have no lingering thoughts on them,
Just the ultimate wish to set them free.

Zen lays dormant,
it never leaves,
what comes and goes
is but a waterstream.
